Homewatch Conference 2009

Authorized Access has exhibited again at the Bury 2009 HomeWatch Conference held at the Radcliffe Civic Suite Thursday 8th October.
Issues highlighted at this event were doorstep crime and the importance of the general public vigilance and being aware of movements in around their neighbourhood.
The public do not appear widely aware that PCSO’s along with community policement, play a vital role in piecing together intelligence around criminal activity in local areas. Neighbourhood watch schemes continue to grow and play an important role in this process
Anyone wishing to join or start up a neighbourhood watch scheme in their area should firstly contact their local PCSO who’s contact details will be available from their local police station.
