What is Key Suiting?

This is when a number of locks are required to be operated by one key. Typical uses for this system, all doors in the home or business operated by the same key, thus reducing the need for a large bunch of keys to be carried.

NB The insurance requirement allows up to six locks to be operated by one key while still retaining BS3621 accreditation.

Where would this be useful?

• The One Key House – All locks in your house will operate using the same key.
• Padlocks locking a number of gates around your premises.
  Any number of keys can be provided.
